My background

I'm a creative, multi-passionate soul who loves finding ways to do #allthethings that align with my own path in life. My background is in writing, content development, book design and typesetting, editing, instructional design, project management, and information systems. There's a bunch more - because I adore learning! - but the most important thing to know about me is that I tend to follow my creative flow.

Once upon a time, I was a dancer. I started learning ballet, tap and jazz at the age of 6, and eventually completed a teaching certification in all three. There were also a few forays into community musical theatre, where I performed in and choreographed for several productions.

Another of my passions is astronomy, which led me to explore the world of astrophotography! Several years ago, this was the thing that inspired me to pick up a camera and learn.

Despite over a decade of formal study in various fields of interest - and holding a Bachelor of Arts (Informatics), Master of Publishing, Grad. Dip. in Project Management, and Grad. Cert. in Science (Astronomy) - my 'student switch' never turned off. I am currently uplevelling my self-taught skills on the job while pursuing a formal qualification in photography.
